It’s hard to see how the European welfare state, which is a ponzi scheme to begin with can exist in the 21st century if the below trends continue. Someone has to pay taxes to keep the generous healthcare and retirement systems going.
So far youth unemployment is “only” 21% Europe wide. That’s not so bad right? Right?
And what can half of all the young people be doing all day in Spain? Hopefully at least a couple of them are painting. We could use a new Miro or Picasso.
