One of the fundamental failures of the pro-state side is that it holds competition in such contempt.
We’ve heard it a million times (or at least I have.) Competition brings out the worst in the human animal. That it shouldn’t be encouraged.
Competition is the only hope for success for most people on the planet. It is only in competitive environments where merit is rewarded and incompetence punished.
In systems where there is little competition the only ones who do well are the established, those with connections and perhaps the right pedigree.
A society without competition is stagnant and oppressive. The freer the markets, the more opportunity there is for the average person, provided they are open to work. Also the freer the markets the more real wealth is created.
