The Farm Bill is Chock Full of Taxpayer Payments to Corporate Farms

In the attached article the author makes the point that the vast majority of crop subsidies go not to the small family farmer living in fear of one bad season. These farmers have no lobbyists on K  Street.

Most of the taxpayer funded subsidies go to large agricultural interests with powerful guys in pinstriped suits doing the Pennsylvania Avenue shuffle.

I particularly like this stat—number 19 on the list of Nebraskan agricultural subsidies? The University of Nebraska Board of Regents. They are the Cornhuskers I guess.
