Chicago-Based Utilities Company Faces Questions From Shareholder About Crony Relationship With Obama Administration

We’ve written about Exelon’s cozy relationship with the White House before. The power company has deftly used its political connections to decimate competitors.

The Chicago based company has been called “Obama’s utility.” David Axelrod even used to work for Exelon. One of the President’s biggest fundraisers sits on the Exelon board. The connection is pretty tight.

At a recent shareholder’s meeting the CEO of Exelon, Chris Cane, was asked about it’s political gamesmanship.
