Wind energy makes sense in some parts of the country. Areas of Texas, the front slope of the Rockies, a few other places. But in many other locations, places with lots of wind turbines, it does not.
Yet we keep erecting wind turbines in these less windy places (such as California) because of the market distortions caused by wind energy subsidies.
In the attached article a CEO in the wind power business says the industry would be better off without these grants and loans financed by the American taxpayer.
