A key point made in the attached article is that the Dems were so afraid that they wouldn’t be able to pass Obamacare in the wake of Scott Brown winning in the Senate that they forced through a bill which was half baked at best. Now the country is going to have to deal with the rashness of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid for a long time.
As many a grandma has said, “Haste makes waste.” Boy is that true on a colossal scale with the “Affordable Care Act.”
Sadly haste often also makes pain, as many low income Americans are about to find out.
But hey, we’ve got Obamacare. Congratulations America.

It’s called the Affordable Care Act, but President Barack Obama’s health care law may turn out to be unaffordable for many low-wage workers, including employees at big chain restaurants, retail stores and hotels.
That might seem strange since the law requires medium-sized and large employers to offer “affordable” coverage or face fines.
But what’s reasonable? Because of a wrinkle in the law, companies can meet their legal obligations by offering policies that would be too expensive for many low-wage workers. For the employee, it’s like a mirage — attractive but out of reach.
