Obama’s former Deputy Chief of Staff, and key operative in the 2012 campaign joins board of company recently awarded millions in federal contracts

It’s always been shameless.

Spend some time in the White House, then before the aura of the place dissipates join some private endeavor for big time money. In this case it’s worse than usual because it’s a government contractor. That Mr. Messina is on the board probably has quite a lot to do with why TechLanza got a $4 million contract “just days ago.”

I mean come on Jim. Wait a week. Don’t make it so obvious.

Maybe he just doesn’t even care.

A former top White House official and the head of President Barack Obama’s personal advocacy group is joining the board of a green energy company backed by a major Democratic donor that recently received millions in federal contracts.

LanzaTech announced Wednesday that Jim Messina, Obama’s former deputy chief of staff, reelection campaign manager, and the head of his retooled campaign apparatus Organizing for Action was appointed to the company’s board of directors.
