We’ve written that the “Affordable Healthcare Act” was likely to be Obama’s Iraq. That is, a policy which was generally not supported by the American people but forced upon them, and then sold (sort of) with half truths. Like Iraq’s troubles were for Bush, the horrible Obamacare rollout probably heralds the beginning of Obama’s lame duck status.
Though we thought the Iraq analogy was pretty apt, we never thought the President would see the correlation. But apparently he does.
Get this. In the Rose Garden yesterday the President said that the problems with Healthcare.gov would soon be solved by a tech “surge.” A surge. An army of software engineers are being deployed as we speak to fix a half baked (at best) program which fundamentally changes 1/6 of the US economy.
Where is General Petraus? And does he know how to write code?
