And here it comes Bernie fans. This is what has brought the ire of some of the official Clintonites.
Quinn, who ran for New York City mayor in 2013, said a recent Bloomberg Politics story that quoted Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver as joking that “we’re willing to consider her for vice president … we’ll even interview her” was beyond the pale.
“Seriously? Seriously? The absurdity of that statement almost merits no response. How arrogant and sexist can you be? It’s not OK to let people with a long progressive record get away with being sexist.”
This is sexist? No, the objection from Clinton’s surrogate is flat out insane. There is nothing sexist about this statement. What level of level of PC delusion must one exist in to see this as sexist?
Of course Ms. Quin is not actually this nuts. This is an “opportunity” (basically they forced it) which the Clinton campaign has been looking for because Sanders has made inroads with liberal women. This “sexism” stuff is a ruse. But this is what happens when people let the political correctness brigades run loose.
Bernie and Hillary are both running for the Dem nomination. Of course there’s going to be trash talking. Deal with it.
