Are we just seeing sore losers at a politicized CIA?

Seems like it’s very possible.

It’s not the THE CIA is officially stating something here. There has been a leak from within the CIA. Some (how many really?) apparently within the CIA have signed onto the idea that Russia was trying to sway things for Trump. (And even if this was the case this is probably not something new. Teddy Kennedy even allegedly asked the Soviet Union to intervene in the 1984 election of behalf of the Democrats. I’m pretty sure whoever “leaked” the “secret” information from the CIA isn’t asserting that a Republican or any member of Trump’s staff courted the Russians like Teddy Kennedy, a sitting US senator, allegedly did.) That the FBI and no other intelligence agency (there are many) and not even the CIA officially as an organization is on board tells us something pretty important. Are we seeing the CIA used as a domestic political weapon? Is it (or more likely someone within the agency) pushing “fake news”?

It’s not like the CIA is known for conjuring false narratives or anything.

I have stated from the outset that the Russian hack bit from The Washington Post smelled an awful lot like the fake UVA rape story from Rolling Stone a couple of years ago. Lots of innuendo. Lots of people trying to make political hay out of a story that just happens to fit perfectly into a certain narrative.

And it must be noted that the thing that the Democrats are most upset about is the fact that the truth about how corrupt the party and DNC is was exposed for all to see. That’s why they’re angry. There is no interest in the “integrity of the Republic.” The Dems (and I’m talking about the DC party establishment here) look like a bunch of corrupt amateurs and so does the #oldmedia thanks to the email hacks. The powers that be just can’t believe that Trump still beat them even though they thought they had 2016 all sewn up. The Dems were licking their chops.

But it turns out the American people, and yes they were woken up to a large degree by the emails, weren’t ready to roll over for the political class. Surprise. Surprise.

The Dems are just being brats, entitled children, and the CIA, or at least someone at the CIA has sought to enable them.

And let’s consider the causalities of the 2016 election. Let’s see, Hillary Clinton, the Clinton machine, John Podesta who has been humiliated, Huma Abedin, Anthony Weiner, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the DNC, the DNCC, the Bush family and machine, some of the people within the neoconservative establishment in the CIA and elsewhere who came out against Trump, the other GOP “nevertrumpers,” the poll companies that make millions each election cycle, and most of all the #OLDMEDIA. Oh yes, the #oldmedia. They all got housed by Trump, someone they dismissed. Someone they all considered a buffoon.

And when one is vanquished by such a foe the hurt is a special kind of hurt. It’s enough to induce rage. We deserved this win! Clinton deserved this! My God, the truth be damned, we’ve got to get that sonofabitch!

And this is what I suspect at a fundamental level is at play here. As some would say – butthurt.

(From Accuracy In Media)

Common sense tells you that Moscow was perfectly content to let Hillary win, and probably thought she would win. After all, Hillary sold out America to Moscow’s interests with a Russian reset that failed and opened the door to more Russian aggression. Her State Department also sold American uranium assets to Moscow. She was the perfect Russian dupe.

This whole discussion in the media about the Russians backing Trump is fake news.

The obvious conclusion is that Brennan is on a mission to overturn the election through propaganda and disinformation. This is not only the last gasp of sore losers but represents corruption of the intelligence process.

If the purpose of the Russian hacking was to undermine confidence in the American democratic process, as some “experts” originally thought, Brennan’s CIA is doing a good job of that.

House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes has sent a letter to James Clapper, the Director of National Intelligence, saying, “On November 17, 2016, you told the Committee during an open hearing that the IC [Intelligence Community] lacked strong evidence connecting Russian govemment cyber-attacks and WikiLeaks disclosures, testifying that ‘as far as the WikiLeaks connection, the evidence there is not as strong and we don’t have good insight into the sequencing of the releases or when the data may have been provided.’ According to new press reports, this is no longer the CIA’s position.”

*For the record we are neutral on Trump. (As we’ve said many many times.)There will be wins and losses for the American people with his presidency just like any presidency. Lord knows we’ll probably have plenty of crony capitalism on which to report in the coming years. But this fit that is being thrown by some in Washington over Trump’s win really is disgusting and frankly hurtful to this country.
