After firing Comey, Trump told Russian officials: ‘I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off’

A day after firing FBI Director James Comey, President Trump told Russian officials visiting the White House he no longer felt “great pressure” because of the investigation into Russia’s attempted meddling in the campaign, according to a report.

The New York Times on Friday reported that Trump said: “I just fired the head of the FBI. He was crazy, a real nut job. I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”

Trump, according to the report, also said: “I’m not under investigation.”

The comments were made during Trump’s May 10 meeting with several Russian officials. The New York Times said they obtained his comments from a document summarizing the meeting. The outlet said the document was based on notes taken from inside the Oval Office during the meeting, and a source read the quotations to them.

Our question is – How many people were in this meeting? This came from a leak.
