Paul Ryan: Congress will stop using taxpayer funds to settle sex harassment suits



Well whoop-di-do. How nice of them. Glad to know that there is some level of shame left in Congress I guess. The Congresspeople will no longer make us pay for their (sexual harassment) stupidity. Well, gee. Thanks.

House Speaker Paul Ryan announced Wednesday that Congress will no longer use taxpayer dollars to settle sexual harassment claims against lawmakers.

“That’s among the things we’re working on right now” as part of a package of reforms, Ryan said in an interview with Wisconsin radio station WISN.

Three lawmakers have recently stepped down over sexual harassment or misconduct claims.
