It is interesting to see the social justice warrior types flip out over Kanye saying nice things about Candace Owen, a young African American woman who has been vocal in her conservatism online. All the old racist tropes have been pulled out. Unless you’re straight up “woke,” politically correct to the hilt, and solidly in line with the official entertainment industry talking points, you aren’t legit.
The thing is Kanye West has already sold millions and millions of albums, and many of the people who don’t like that Kanye is speaking out bought those albums (and likely praised them). Now however The College Dropout may be thrown on the book (and CD) burning pile they are creating in West Hollywood. (Not really, but they are trying to ban some books in Cali these days.)
By the way, some people are trying to tag Ms. Owen with the “alt-right” label. That is totally unfair. She speaks her mind and she is blunt. Some people would just prefer that this young woman go back in the corner and know her place I guess.

Kanye West sparked an angry backlash by tweeting his admiration for a black far-right media personality and the way she ‘thinks’ on Saturday.
The rapper endorsed YouTube personality Candace Owen, a woman who is known for her controversial views on racism.
‘I love the way Candace Owens thinks,’ he said on Saturday morning.
The original tweet quickly gained traction as over 32,000 people liked the post and another 10,200 retweeted it.
I’m freaking out. @kanyewest ….please take a meeting with me. I tell every single person that everything that I have been inspired to do, was written in your music,’ Owens said on Twitter sharing West’s post.
