This doesn’t look new particularly. Also we’ll bet that the Russians weren’t the only ones who “hacked” our election infrastructure. We look forward to the evidence.
I am reminded of the words of a former senior Washington insider in reference to current security threats, “Russia is a side show.” China however is likely a much more significant threat. One wonders how much communist party money is flowing into US universities these days.
We can’t say if Russia is a sideshow or if China is a significant threat, but we submit for our readers to consider.

The Russians are accused of hacking into the computer networks of the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton, and then releasing stolen emails on the internet in the months before the election…
…Rosenstein, who said he had briefed President Donald Trump on the indictment, said there was no allegation that the hacking altered any vote count or that any Americans were knowingly in communication with any of the Russian officers.
