Leading newspapers mum on the Dianne Feinstein China spy ring story (We wonder why so few people trust the Old Media these days?)

We definitely have not been quiet on this story, so the author of the attached article must be talking about OTHER leading news outlets. Ahem…

The Examiner is correct. It’s like this story didn’t happen in some corners of the news world. We wonder why the silence? Ms. Feinstein had a Chinese spy working for her for 20 years. Feinsten once chaired the Senate Intelligence Committee (the alleged spy worked for her then). Feinstein sits currently on the United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, which according Wikipedia “is dedicated to overseeing the United States Intelligence Community—the agencies and bureaus of the federal government of the United States who provide information and analysis for leaders of the executive and legislative branches.” She also sits on the Defense Subcommittee. This is a big deal. Yet, from some corners, some important corners, crickets.

(From The Washington Examiner)

But Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey is correct: The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post haven’t published a single word yet about the spy China had for more than a decade in Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s California office.

Morrissey checked the Times’ website and found nothing. He also checked the Post’s and the L.A. Times’: nothing.

How can that possibly be? We know why and how, really, but it is still stunning that The Times, The Post and The LA Times have done NOTHING on this story.

The old media, the crony media, continue cover what they want to cover. And it’s not a Chinese spy doing his thing for years under the nose of the senior senator from California. Nope. That’s not news.
