Eric Holder: Declassifying FISA documents is ‘an especially dangerous abuse of power’

We have to wonder why Holder is so concerned?

That we have secret court in the United States is really a shame. FISA (as it is now) is a great example of the broad government power grab in the wake of the September 11, 2001 crisis. FISA is part of the Swamp. A particularly dangerous part.

Why should the American people know what happened at the highest levels in the last days of the Obama administration? Better to keep things quiet, right Mr. Holder? No need to rock the crony Obama boat.

No. They cronies should be made to feel uncomfortable (at the very least) and the American people should get the full picture of what happened in the FBI and elsewhere leading up to and after the 2016 election. This MAY mean that people like Holder and perhaps other people are exposed. This could be potentially catastrophic for the Obama/Clinton crowd.

But perhaps not. The government guys, the high level government cronies, always seem to get away with it. We hear Lois Lerner is sipping Singapore slings on a cruise somewhere.

The 19 documents declassified would provide an insight to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act application process, FBI interviews with DOJ official Bruce Ohr, and interview reports regarding the FISA application to conduct surveillance on former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.

Republicans contend that Mr. Ohr had a hand in organizing the Steele dossier, which they argue was the basis for spying on Mr. Page and the Russia investigation into the Trump campaign.
