The Dems have a point here. But this feels more like the effort to take away the Trump Hotel liquor license than any effort to get to the bottom of any corruption.
It’s not like $10,000 or $100,000 or probably any amount is going to impact Trump’s direction and that’s the issue with an emolument.
Still it seems reasonable to have top tier official guests stay at the Jefferson instead of the Trump Hotel, just for perception’s sake.
