New Study Says Throw Away the Statin Drugs

 

Although this new study does not address it, there is still concern about LDL cholesterol that has oxidized. Fortunately there is a separate test for that. Statins do not reduce oxidation of cholesterol and come with a host of side effects ( just read the drug insert) such as diabetes and muscle pain.

Doctors have found there is no evidence of a link between high levels of bad cholesterol and heart disease, a study says. . . .

Their findings, published in the Expert Review of Clinical Pharmacology, suggest the drugs won’t treat heart disease, as they say high bad cholesterol levels don’t necessarily lead to heart disease.
