Even if the anti-Pelosi forces do come up with someone to oppose her in the leadership election next week, she’d still have a good chance of winning. The other top Democratic leaders, Steny Hoyer, of Maryland, and James Clyburn, of South Carolina, are establishment figures who, like Pelosi, are in their late seventies.
