Court Denies Bid to Toss Southwest Religious Discrimination Suit

Former Southwest Airlines flight attendant Charlene Carter’s lawsuit against her employer and union for violating her religious liberty will continue after a federal judge rejected motions to dismiss the case.

Carter, a veteran flight attendant, is suing the airline and Transport Workers Union of America Local 556, alleging that she was unlawfully fired for voicing her religious beliefs and pro-life views.
