Elon Musk has made a career out of partnering with government and leveraging taxpayer funds for his projects. Crony capitalism seems to be a key part of his general business model whether in space or on the highway.
“If speed is of the utmost importance, then they may be willing to pay more than SpaceX’s stated price,” Chad Anderson, CEO of investment firm Space Angels, told CNBC. “SpaceX is clearly the front-runner given this time frame”
So that seems to be going well. (For Musk.)
Meanwhile…This from the head of factory security turned whistleblower.
Among other things, he claims that Tesla investigators hacked into Tripp’s phone, had him followed and misled police. Further, Gouthro says that Tripp didn’t sabotage Tesla or hack anything and that Elon Musk knew all of this, but still tried to damage his reputation.
